Travel Opportunity:

Sturgis is traveling to Sicily, Italy in April 2016 with Travel for Teens. Explore an ancient Greek theatre overlooking the sea, swim in the sparkling blue Mediterranean and complete a meaningful community service activity. Learn more at:

New text/email reminder system:
We are piloting a new service, This allows us to send text reminders to you about events at Sturgis East. This system will not replace our current method of weekly emails home. It will be used for more specific messages such as "School Photo Day- Thursday, Sept. 25". The system will not show actual phone numbers and can't be used for one-on-one communication. Trip to China:

Next June Sturgis will have a trip, through our trusted travel company EF tours, to China. This is a nine day excursion that will include four days in Beijing and 4 days in Hong Kong. Travel dates are June 18-27, 2015. The cost of the trip is $3425 which includes all travel, lodging and breakfasts and dinners.
