The Washington Post once again recognizes Sturgis as the #1 school in MA, and also #4 in the Northeast, and # 84 in the U.S.
This marks the 8th straight year that Sturgis has been ranked one of the top schools in the U.S. by the Washington Post.

Blood drive at Sturgis West
The Red Cross Club of Sturgis West in partnership with Cape Cod Healthcare will sponsor a Blood Drive on Friday, January 30th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sturgis West Library. All faculty and staff, and any student 16 or older may participate. A parental consent form is required for 16 and 17 year olds. Please print the form linked here and either return it to Mrs. Albis in Room 111, or bring it with you on the day of the Blood Drive to present to the Cape Cod Healthcare staff.
Red Cross Club officers will be signing up volunteer Blood Donors in the Atrium beginning Wednesday, January 21st during the lunch period. Friday, January 30th is a Day 2 in the academic cycle, so please sign up for a time during your study hall or lunch block. The entire process of giving blood takes only 45-50 minutes. Thanks for your participation!
Sturgis is proud to announce the completion of the fall issue of The Current. Student editors have been hard at work compiling student and faculty art, photography, and writing into 32 pages of creativity! Check out our arts magazine in the library or the front office. Tour to England
There will be an EF science and innovation trip to England for April break of 2016.

Drivers Ed Classes for East and West Students:
- Next class is from 1/20- 1/30 in the East Annex study hall- M-F 3:15- 6:15 daily
- Students must be 15 years 9 months old at the time of the class.
- Possible classes planned for late April to early May; please call if interested.
- Accelerated classes at Driving school office (behind New England Pizza)
- Saturday classes on Jan/Feb weekends- 1/10, 17, 24, 31, 2/7

Trip to China:
Next June Sturgis will have a trip, through our trusted travel company EF tours, to China. This is a nine day excursion that will include four days in Beijing and 4 days in Hong Kong. Travel dates are June 18-27, 2015. The cost of the trip is $3425 which includes all travel, lodging and breakfasts and dinners.
